Get a portable barn built in the Midwest for the Midwest at owner-operated Prairie Built Barns Boody, IL. Our buildings are of Mennonite quality and come with custom interior and exterior options, including doors, windows, porches, and garage doors. We have inventory on the lot at all times that is available for purchase or rent-to-own.

The barns are lower priced than the offerings of other manufacturers. Their quality and prices are better than what’s available from local competitors.

All exposed natural wood is pressure treated. Barn roofs are either 29-gauge metal roofing or 30-year dimensional shingles. Your barn will be set on 4x6-foot notched ground skids on 16-inch centers. We offer free delivery (for the first 50 miles) and setup. On-site construction is also an option.

Removal of existing sheds on your property is negotiated through a third-party delivery company.

Our engineer-certified portable barns come with a 6-year front-to-back warranty on material defects and product craftsmanship. We also stand behind our barns with a limited lifetime warranty on all pressure-treated wood components related to termite damage and fungal decay.

• Lofts can add up to 80% more storage space in the same square footage area

• 10-foot wide and wider – double wood doors (70-inch opening)
• 8-foot wide – single wood door (46-inch opening)
  

Standard Side Lofted Barns

These barns come with the same standard features as our lofted barns as well as with these options:

• 10 feet long: single wood door with a 2x3-foot window
• 12 feet long: choice of a single wood door with 2 2x3-foot windows or double wood doors with a 2x3-foot window
• 14 feet long and longer: double wood doors with 2 2x3-foot windows
